The new URL would be: http://whatpulse.org/api/user.php?UserID=1 — this holds the same information, only the miles are added. This way is also only cached for 1 hour, instead of the 6 on the old URL.

Generation of the stats used to sometimes stop, when the memory of the server run out, because all XML files are generated at the same time. With this new script, that can’t happen as well.

The old files will be around for a while, so there’s no hurry in modifying your scripts. (unless you really really want your miles 😉 ).

The move will start at 19:00 GMT, and could last a maximum of 6 hours. (usually it’s around 3 hours). So there is a chance you won’t be able to pulse or visit the website during that time.

After the server has arrived at the new datacenter, everything will start to run again, and you will be able to pulse again.

[Update 6:30]

Done.

This means that any premium member can now use POP3, IMAP or webmail to receive and send email through their account. Of course, the forwarding is still a possibility, along with autoresponders, mail groups and a spamfilter.

The new control center also communicates directly to the mailserver so you don’t have to wait for an admin to approve your new aliases as well.
